Premier Community Credit Union (Premier CCU) is now Self-Help Federal Credit Union (Self-Help FCU). Self-Help FCU is a non-profit, community development credit union serving more than 100,000 members through branches in northern, central, and southern California, Washington state, Illinois and Wisconsin. Premier CCU merged with Self-Help FCU on April 1, 2022.
ADOPTING THE SELF-HELP FEDERAL CREDIT UNION NAME
As you can see, our website appearance has change to display the Self-Help FCU name/logo on all pages. However, the website address and links to online banking and other critical member services remain the same, and many of our online services platforms continue to display the Premier CCU name and/or logo. Member login credentials do not change.
Also, the interior of our branches will undergo visual transformations this year to display the Self-Help FCU name and logo. However, the outside of our branches will continue to display the Premier CCU logo in signage, for now.
PRODUCTS & SERVICES
Members with accounts opened through our Stockton, Lodi and Manteca branches must continue to use our Premier CCU-branded services including online banking, mobile banking, cards, ATM networks, etc. For now, members with accounts opened through those three branches are not able to use the branches or services of Self-Help FCU as members.
All of our members continue to enjoy unlimited online and telephone access to their member accounts, as well as surcharge-free ATM access nationwide through the CO-OP Network and 7-Eleven stores when using our cards.
SERVING THE COMMUNITY
In addition to providing high-quality financial products and services, it is part of Self-Help FCU’s mission to engage with communities through volunteer work, technical assistance and other forms of community development support. As Self-Help FCU, we continue to sponsor San Joaquin County's annual Classified Employees and Teacher of the Year Award dinner (for which Premier CCU was a founding sponsor). And organizations such as El Concilio, the American Heart Association, the Stockton Shelter for the Homeless and the Stockton Emergency Food Bank continue to receive our outreach support.
Member deposits are federally insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a U.S. government agency.
