Premier Community Credit Union was chartered in 1931 to provide financial services to Stockton teachers. Today, Premier Community serves everyone who lives or works in San Joaquin County, with a continued focus on educators.
Unlike a bank, a not-for-profit credit union is owned by its members and provides lower fees, better rates, and quality, personal service to its member/owners. Premier Community serves members through branches in Stockton, Lodi and Manteca. Members enjoy unlimited online and telephone access to their accounts, as well as access to thousands of fee-free ATMs across the nation through the CO-OP Network and 7-Eleven.
Premier Community also has ATMs at the San Joaquin Office of Education and Delta College.
Member deposits are insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a U.S. Government Agency. Additional coverage up to $250,000 is provided by American Share Insurance, providing a total of up to $500,000 in deposit insurance protection for each member.
Premier Community also takes pride in giving back to the community through volunteer work, donations and scholarships. Premier Community offers educational scholarships directly to its members' children, and is a proud founding sponsor of San Joaquin County's Annual Classified Employees and Teacher of the Year Award Dinner.
We also help raise thousands of dollars in donations for worthy organizations such as El Concilio, the American Heart Association, the Stockton Shelter for the Homeless, the Stockton Emergency Food Bank, and other local schools and organizations.
